Accessibility engineering is our core service, so this site is held to the same standard we sell. Lotus Innovations targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance for lotusinnovations.io.

What we do to meet the target

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy and landmark regions
• Full keyboard operability, visible focus, and skip-friendly navigation
• Color contrast at or above WCAG AA ratios for text and interactive elements
• Labeled form controls and descriptive link text
• Automated axe-core testing on every deploy, with manual keyboard and screen reader review on a periodic full-site pass

Conformance status

Automated axe-core checks run against every deploy of this site, covering the WCAG 2.0 A, 2.0 AA, 2.1 A, 2.1 AA, and 2.2 AA rulesets plus axe’s best-practice rules. The most recent run, on August 15, 2026, reported zero violations across all nine page types at desktop and mobile widths.

Automated testing cannot establish conformance on its own, so it is not what we rely on. The last full manual review was August 14, 2026, covering the site as it stood on that date, at desktop and mobile widths: complete keyboard traversal of every page in both directions, focus order and focus visibility including on dark backgrounds, the skip link, the mobile menu, form completion and error recovery by keyboard alone, and an inspection of the accessibility tree every screen reader reads from, checking accessible names, roles, states, headings, landmarks, and live regions. Reflow was checked at 320 CSS pixels and at 200% and 400% zoom, and text spacing was checked against the WCAG 1.4.12 overrides. Two defects were found and fixed the same day: the skip link moved the scroll position without moving focus, and six offer links shared one link name. Our stated conformance target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The page layout was rebuilt on August 15, 2026. Automated testing has been re-run in full against the new layout. The manual review has not yet been repeated. An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for this site is available on request.
